Supporting food banks is an important cause all year long, and especially during holidays like Christmas. The Little Potato Company is proud to give back to the community as part of our purpose to Save the Potato. Feed the world, better.

We believe our actions speak through our hands – by doing what we say – in the field and throughout the world.

Striving to feed the world, better, we partnered with Southwestern Wisconsin’s Second Harvest Food Bank for their Share Your Holidays Food Drive this year.

Second Harvest shares our Creamer potatoes to provide hunger relief plus they offer our team opportunities to take action toward our purpose together: Save the potato. Feed the world, better.

Proud to Support the Share Your Holidays Food Drive

Recently we became a Share Your Holidays Food Drive Platinum Sponsor by donating the equivalent of 60,000 meals ($1 = 3 meals) with our Creamer potatoes and food from our collection barrels, to their program benefiting Second Harvest Food Bank.

We are thrilled to congratulate Second Harvest on a successful event raising $3.55 million so far from the Share Your Holidays Grand Finale event earlier this month.

A Little Potato Family Affair

Nearly 20 of our employees rolled up their sleeves at Second Harvest to package food and fill collection barrels at our Wisconsin plant. They also sorted and packed donations during the Share Your Holidays grand finale event.

Several employees took advantage of the occasion to bring their children and share in the experience of giving to an important cause.

Not only do we love to help feed the world better, but at the Little Potato Company we love to dial up the festive fun, and our volunteers arrived wearing matching orange Santa hats and shirts!
