  • Slow cooker


  • 3 lbs Little Potatoes (this recipe uses Little Duos™, but you can use any kind you like)
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups cheddar, divided
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 10 slices thick cut bacon, cooked
  • 1 bunch green onions, sliced
  • 1 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • (To garnish) sour cream and chopped green onions


  • Step 1

    Combine potatoes, one cup of cheddar, and remaining ingredients in a slow cooker. Stir well to make sure potatoes are evenly coated.

  • Step 2

    Cook on high for one hour, stirring every 20 to 30 minutes. Reduce heat to low and cook for another hour, or until potatoes are cooked through.

  • Step 3

    Stir in remaining cheese, serve, and top with a dollop of sour cream and green onions.
