No Leftovers? No Problem!
Don’t have leftover pulled pork on hand? No worries! Making your own is super easy with a slow cooker. Here’s a simple way to do it:
Simple Slow Cooker Pulled Pork
- Place a 2 to 3 pound pork shoulder (also called pork butt) in your slow cooker.
- Sprinkle it with a little salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Pour one 18-ounce bottle of your family’s favorite BBQ sauce over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours or on high for 4 to 5 hours, until the pork is super tender.
- Take the pork out of the slow cooker and use two forks to shred it. You can add a little extra BBQ sauce after it’s shredded to make it extra saucy. Now you’re ready to make your foil packs!
