Edmonton, AB–(September 21, 2015) The Little Potato Company has launched a new website featuring The Little Chef Program, offering recipes and tips to help parents and kids spend time together cooking, having fun and learning new skills.

When parents engage kids in the kitchen, not only will they learn to cook, but they’ll also learn math, nutrition, where food comes from, planning, social skills and family food traditions and stories Mom and Dad share with them as they prep and cook together.
Canada’s Food Guide recommends kids eat four to six servings of fruit and vegetables a day, and Health Canada recognizes that food preparation and cooking skills impact both kids’ and teens’ food choices. When kids are exposed to fresh, unprocessed foods and learn to prepare them well, they are more likely to feel comfortable cooking these foods as adults.
