TORONTO (December 10, 2015) – CTV’s THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW and The Little Potato Company revealed the two finalists in The Little Chef Casting Call on the show today: Chris de Henestrosa (11) from Aurora, Ont. and Naia Tement (9) from Richmond Hill, Ont.

Chris and Naia were selected as the two final Little Chefs from a shortlist of 10 semi-finalists chosen from hundreds of top-quality video submissions. More than 11,000 votes were cast for the Little Chef casting call and finalists were chosen based on cooking skill and presentation, personality, and voter support for their videos.

The Little Chef finalists will now take part in a head-to-head cook-off with coaching from MASTERCHEF CANADA’s Michael Bonacini on CTV’s THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW on Monday, Dec. 14. Up for grabs is the grand prize of a family adventure for three people in Paris, courtesy of The Little Potato Company, including airfare, accommodation, two-day park passes to an entertainment resort, and an ultimate culinary experience.

The Little Potato Company’s Little Chef Program helps parents and kids spend fun and meaningful time together. The program provides tools and tips, Little Chef Approved recipes, age-appropriate tasks for kids of various ages, and information about the important skills they’ll learn as their kitchen skills evolve. The Little Chef-Approved recipes are popular not only with kids but with adults, too.

The contest is being promoted and featured at major retailers across Canada with “Little Chef Program” promotional material and programs.
