with coaching from MASTERCHEF CANADA’s Michael Bonacini –
TORONTO (November 2, 2015) – Following a month-long cross-country search, CTV’s THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW and The Little Potato Company have revealed the Top 10 semifinalists in The Little Chef Casting Call. The finalists – all 12-years-old and under and heralding from British Columbia to New Brunswick – represent the best “little chefs” from across Canada. Beginning today until Sunday, Nov. 29, Canadians can view videos of the Top 10 Little Chefs at work and vote for their favourite at Marilyn.ca. Voters are entered into a contest with a chance to win one of four weekly prize packs from The Little Potato Company.
In addition to personality, cooking skill and presentation, voter support for each video will be considered when choosing the two Little Chef finalists who will advance to the final round. Once in the final round, the Little Chef finalists will take part in a head-to-head cook off with coaching from MASTERCHEF CANADA’s Michael Bonacini live on CTV on THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW on Dec. 14. Up for grabs is the grand prize of a family adventure for three people in Paris, courtesy of The Little Potato Company, including airfare, accommodation, two-day park passes to an entertainment resort, and an ultimate culinary experience.
After THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW and The Little Potato Company put out a culinary casting call to children aged 8-13 last month, the judging panel faced the difficult job of selecting The Top 10 semifinalists from hundreds of excellent submissions to Marilyn.ca. Now, the Top 10 are revealed:
