What You’ll Need

  • Printer
  • The Valentine’s Day Cards (PDF)
  • Scissors or a paper trimmer
  • Pen or marker to sign names
  • Optional: cardstock for durability, small envelopes, stickers/washi tape, a class list for spelling names, tape to attach a pencil or non-food treat (if allowed)

How to Use

  1. Print and cut the cards—one for each classmate (plus a few extras).
  2. Have your child sign their name; add a short note or sticker if they’d like.
  3. Sort cards by class list to make morning handout easier.
  4. Pack them in a large zip bag or envelope labeled with your child’s name.
  5. At school, place cards in classmates’ “mailboxes” or hand them out during the exchange.
  6. Optional ideas:
    • Compliment Challenge: write one kind sentence on the back of each card.
    • Buddy Boost: include a friendship bracelet, eraser, or pencil where permitted.
    • Teacher Thank-You: save one special card for the teacher or staff.
