What You’ll Need

  • Printer
  • Little Connections Cards PDF
  • Scissors or paper trimmer
  • Optional: Cardstock for durability, small box/jar or elastic band, markers for color-coding by theme

How to Play

  1. Print and cut the cards. Shuffle into one deck.
  2. Take turns drawing a card and answering. Encourage follow-ups like “why?” or “tell me more.” Sample prompts include superpowers, favorite holiday traditions, small acts of kindness, and “a little moment of happiness today.”
  3. Try quick variants:
    • Mealtime Lightning Round: each person answers in one minute before the next bite.
    • Pick-a-Number: choose a number, then draw that many cards and pick one to answer.
    • Road Trip Mix: keep a mini stack in the glovebox for screen-free car chats.
  4. Keep a few blank slips nearby so kids can add their own questions—then save favorites in a jar to revisit next time.
