What You’ll Need
- Printer
- Holiday Table Cards PDF
- Scissors or paper trimmer
- Optional: cardstock for sturdier cards, markers for names, a small box or elastic band for storage.
How to Play
- Print and cut the cards. Write each guest’s name in the “Your Name Here” space, then fold to stand at each place setting.
- During the meal, take turns answering the prompt on your card—swap with a neighbor after a few minutes to keep the conversation moving. Sample prompts include favorite holiday traditions, proud moments, superpowers for the season, and “a little moment of happiness today.”
- Variations:
- Gratitude round: everyone answers one card before the first bite.
- Kids pick: children choose a card for the table and read it aloud.
- Keepers jar: save favorite cards to revisit next year.
