What You’ll Need

  • Printer
  • Holiday Table Cards PDF
  • Scissors or paper trimmer
  • Optional: cardstock for sturdier cards, markers for names, a small box or elastic band for storage.

How to Play

  1. Print and cut the cards. Write each guest’s name in the “Your Name Here” space, then fold to stand at each place setting.
  2. During the meal, take turns answering the prompt on your card—swap with a neighbor after a few minutes to keep the conversation moving. Sample prompts include favorite holiday traditions, proud moments, superpowers for the season, and “a little moment of happiness today.”
  3. Variations:
    • Gratitude round: everyone answers one card before the first bite.
    • Kids pick: children choose a card for the table and read it aloud.
    • Keepers jar: save favorite cards to revisit next year.
