Prep this easy slow cooker recipe the night before and wake up to the delightful aroma of ready-to-eat Creamer potatoes.
  1. Combine all seasonings and mix well.
  2. Place potatoes and onions into a six-quart slow cooker. Sprinkle with seasonings and butter. Mix until well combined.
  3. Cover and cook for 6 to 8 hours on low heat, 4 to 6 on high heat (if you go the high heat route, be sure to toss every so often as the ingredients can burn).
  4. Sprinkle with fresh oregano if desired and serve!

This is a go-to weekend breakfast or brunch dish in the Bonacini house. It’s quick, easy, convenient, tastes delicious, and I like to think of it as healthy. It’s a great way to start the day or even impress your guests. In fact, you can change it up by adding smoked chicken, lovely smoked ham, or any roasted root vegetable.
