JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: U.S. Regional Field Representative
Location: Pasco, Washington
Terms: Full Time - Contract
Reports to: Director of Production

PRIMARY FOCUS:

The US Regional Field Representative will partner with US growers to resolve agronomic issues as well as assess, advise and plan to meet the quality standards of the Little Potato Company. This role is key in negotiating contracts with growers and ultimately will determine the order in which the grower’s potato product will enter the production line. This role will execute directives given by the Director of Production as well as create and implement a production strategy that is consistent with the Little Potato Company’s strategic plan and aligns with the growth strategy. This position will require travel to growers in Washington and California.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Implement and execute a production plan that meets the strategic goals of the organization.
Partner with growers in all US regions, build and maintain relationships through
effective communication.
Resolve agronomic issues; create and implement processes to improve efficiency.
Liaise with the field production team and create a communication strategy to keep
everyone well informed.
Create and negotiate contracts with growers.
Research and develop new areas in the US for seed development and production.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

5 -10 years of related experience or combination of education and experience.
Strong project management skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to focus, plan and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects and changing priorities.
Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.
