JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Sales Coordinator
Terms: Full Time, Permanent
Reports to: Inside Sales Manager

PRIMARY FOCUS:

Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Sales Coordinator is responsible to provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Verification of order entry against customer purchase order to ensure accuracy of quantities, variety, cost, shipping and delivery date and location.
• Verify and update any orders shorted or refused and relay information to customer and Supervisor.
• Send confirmation to buyers.
• Investigate and rectify order and/or invoice discrepancies.
• Track and report on assigned Key Performance Indicators.
• Maintain and update forecasting, supply and sales reports and conduct analysis to track trends and/or discrepancies.
• Analyze and rectify customer concerns using established procedures.
• Maintain customer database, including tracking of purchase orders.
• Notify sales and plant team about incoming, time-sensitive purchase orders.
• Match and confirm previous days shipments and present to accounting for final invoicing.
• Maintain and monitor third party EDI systems.
• Arrange for samples as requested.
• Maintain filing system
• Special projects as assigned.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 or more years related experience.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective time management skills in a fast paced, changing environment.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent Excel skills.
